This book sets everything up for Joey and Adora and even though they did not get on at first I was rooting for them, Their relationship is most certainly fiesty and if this is the first part of the duet I am super excited to see what is going to happen in the second part and I have a feeling it will be quite the ride. And I am definitely sure I will not be reading Arranged hearts..slightly at a crossroads whether I want to continue with this world at all.

Kalon” is the second novel in the “Take Over” series and was released in the year 2014. He wants Eliza dead because she’s a threat to him. He tried killing her dad. Little did he know that you just don’t mess with her family. She’ll get her revenge. Then she will take anybody else down that stands in her way and she’ll make them pay too. Adora was hiding away from a fate that she never wanted and what better place to hide than under the nose of those that they are seeking you??? I normally give 5 starts but the other trope I’m not sure I’m a fan of and just my feelings for Adora I give this book a 4.5. Now, her life just went and got complicated. However don’t misunderstand, complex isn’t any kind of weakness. Her dad wasn’t a man to cross, so expect nothing less than that from her. Eliza is definitely her father’s daughter, and she will be the boss.I didn't enjoy this as much as I did the first book but I still loved it and read it in one sitting. I was desperate to know where Joey and Adora go from the cliffhanger of the previous book and was not disappointed by fast paced plot and se×y smūt. I had a very hard time like Adora right from the get-go. There is so much pent-up anger in her and I know she has all kinds of secrets she’s hiding. The amount of animosity and hatred she holds towards the mafia life just oozed out of her and had me seething over it. She slowly starts to show her good side and closer to the end I was kind of liking her – UNITL THE END!!! Now I think I hate her again! A Perfect winters day was spent inhaling this goody, an unorthodox first meeting with an arranged marriage taking place soon after. Neither of them wanting it. But this was written in ink many moons ago and is required of them to tie the knot.

If you haven’t started this whole series you need to. If you have and are waiting to read Joey story don’t book 2 will be out sooner then you know.
