The original Phantom of the Opera was released in 1925 and starred Lon Chaney. The movie was based on the French novel by Gaston Leroux. Chaney played the role of a deformed man who lived in the catacombs of the Paris Opera House and falls in love with a young soprano, Christine Daae. Who was the best Phantom on Broadway?
