We follow the trio as they assist the famous detective in the back streets of London’s East End with the help of their faithful cat Watson (Bill Nighy) and Sherlock’s beloved housekeeper Mrs Hudson (Celia Imrie).

Along the way, they unexpectedly add a fourth member to the team and ultimately become the youngest detectives of the Victorian era. The Baker Street Irregulars debuted in Arthur Conan Doyle’s first Sherlock Holmes yarn— A Study in Scarlet—back in 1887. This time out, Sherlock Holmes is out of the country on a case, so the kids will have to figure this one out on their own. The mysteries are solved by the kids themselves, given that Holmes is often out of town on other assignments. Which is probably a good thing since I saw that there is a second volume coming out in a couple of months.if you always wished you could share your gamebook experiences with your friends than you are going to absolutely love our cooperative Graphic Novel Adventures games and this game takes it to a whole new level.

The art style in this is frickin gorgeous, the story is well written and fun and who doesn't love a Sherlock Holmes inspired story! The book starts in the winter of 1890-1891 when Sherlock Holmes entrusts our heroes with a seemingly simple case before he leaves to face Moriarty. The portrayal of Victorian London is immaculate, and the joy of recognising particular landmarks – coupled with a sense of some historical accuracy – gives the book a certain charm especially when combined with the nostalgic child-driven plot. Fortunately, these three boys can count on the protection of Sherlock Holmes, for whom they sometimes act as spies. The group enters 221B Baker Street together, but since they upset Holmes's landlady (who is unnamed in this story but later named Mrs.

The Baker Street Four is a series of French graphic novels by Olivier Legrand and various illustrators published in 2017 and centering around the adventures of three young street urchins and their cat as they become caught up in the cases and lives of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. I don't know if it was just me, but it was difficult to enjoy a graphic novel when none of the words are in the right spots. The adventures of the Baker Street Irregulars continue in the second volume of the award-winning comics series based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. B. Djian and illustrated by David Etien, Baker Street Four follows Billy (Charlie Brand), Charlie (Kiki May), and Tom (Nathan Moses), three young apprentices of Sherlock Holmes (Paterson Joseph) who assist the famous detective in London’s dodgy East End.

It is with The Baker Street Four, written by Olivier Legrand and Djian, that David has had the opportunity to share his passion and talent for comics with the world! A great first installment in the series of the three friends' adventures, which can be viewed as a spin-off of the famous Sherlock Holmes's stories.

And of course the Paradiso team who worked tirelessly to bring this show to life: Molly O'Keefe Yael Even Or Morgan Jaffe Benoit Dunaigre Lorenzo Benedetti Louis Daboussy Johanna Bondoux Ludye Nisol Brendan Galbreath. In the second story the children get mixed up in the conflict between the Russian Tsar and the Revolutionaries he is trying to put down. His lover Katya Ivanova try to get the help of Sherlock Holmes on the way she was to be killed by some Russians but the timely intervention by our irregulars saves Katya. It's not so much a mystery as an adventure tale, with plenty of physical derring-do, and a tabby cat that scampers along as the fourth member of the gang.

As well as having extremely gorgeous detail in the backgrounds the comic contains rich atmospheric colouring. The backgrounds were extremely detailed, which sometimes helped and sometimes hindered; action scenes had a tendency to look like a freeze-frame rather than being imbued with action themselves. Hazel Meade's troop of children serve as couriers and lookouts in the "Baker Street Irregulars" during the lunar revolution of Robert A.
