We get to know Clare, their newborn daughter and watch as their relationship changes from new married to new parents. First of all, let me start by saying that it was delightful to read once again a new story penned by Sylvain Reynard. There was more to tell in Gabriel and Julia’s story, and I am so glad he gifted us with this AMAZING book!

While this story may not pack the punch as some of the previous installments, I think fans of this couple will still enjoy the reunion, as I did. When Gabriel and Julia Emerson first lay eyes on their newborn daughter, Clare, they realize life as they know it will never be the same.I’m a little confused about a couple of things that don’t really get explained and I would like to know who it was and why and if I’m completely honest, I want to see them in Scotland. There is passion, romance and exotic locales here as the Emersons travel between Scotland and Boston.

And while there is some mystery within the story, I didn't really feel the pull that I did with the first books. He takes care of the simplest details in each of his books, like setting the dates for each of his stories and choosing and developing the themes of lectures.

But if I had I wouldn't be able to add this: I got to see Julia and Gabriel come to life this weekend thanks to Passionflix which will be bringing the series to us and it just reinforced my love for this series. But his family comes first, in all matters of the heart and our hero is willing to walk away from his career to protect the people he loves. Recently, I celebrated the one year anniversary of the Italian release of “The Roman” by Delrai Edizioni. I don't really care for romance novels, but this is one of the few series I make an exception for as the characters are really great, the plot interesting, and the writing well done. The Gabriel Series” is one of my favorite romance series and it sparked my interest for student – professor romance.

Don’t get me wrong, the joy of meeting Gabriel again was enormous and I really hope Sylvain will continue the series, even with glimpse and pieces, I’ll take anything.But even as Gabriel and Julia navigate through their newlywed bliss, Gabriel remains convinced that his happiness is destined to be short-lived, that it could be ripped away at any moment.
