Perhaps it is just too experimental for my taste but 110 pages into the book I found I didn't have the heart to keep reading. But again, once I got used to the characters and the pattern of the stories, it was much easier to comprehend. Each postcard, depicting a vista Daniel has seen or a place he has visited, contains one paragraph that ends abruptly, only to be continued on the next card.
