When I was going through the introductory part of the book, I was a bit worried as it stated that a bit of knowledge in programming is expected, but it turned out not to be the case. But I knew nothing about python going in and this helped me pick it up relatively easily—would recommend in conjunction with something more up-to-date. So in my opinion, this book is perfect for anyone who's new to Python, or in my case, who's new to programming altogether.
