A little tip, hang a saw on the wall rather than the laser itself, you’ve got a bit of play in the height it’s set at then. Needed this for a few jobs, far easier to set this up once than keep using a tape measure, not suitable for every job but useful to keep in the tool box. I'm a home builder and have used laser levels since they came out, mostly for conventional leveling tasks. Green laser wasn’t available at time of purchase, but I would recommend getting the green one if using outside or in bright conditions. Yes the batteries do run out fairly quickly when left on for long periods of time but don’t forget to pop spare batteries in the storage box and you will be fine.

I’ve been using this laser for about 2 years now , pretty much every day on first fixing , build quality is decent as it feels hefty in the hand while other cheaper brands have a cheap feel , the laser is bright for those rare sunny days and I’ve not noticed any drop in brightness as it’s aged , comes with the auto level feature which is standard with most levels , battery life is usually a week with me if I remember to turn it off in between marking up , three double AA’s . A very good laser level, wouldn't be without it now on tiling jobs, comes in very handy for long pipe runs aswell, once it's set up, you can forgot about it, it does the rest! li>

  I’ve only recently come onto the laser level scene and was sceptical about using them however pretty straight forward to use and does save time I’d say a handy bit of kit to have in your collection. Lead times are shown on the product and trolley pages and are always advertised in working days (Monday to Friday). I trust it to the extent that I don’t double check with a spirit level until later in the job and it’s always been accurate. Desalt laser leaves is great bit of kit , I have one nearly 5 years and all I do is replace batteries.

  Also the magnet is strong enough to attach it to the metal corner plaster beads, this makes setting it up very easy. li>
