OMORI is a very important game, made with so much love from the indie art studio OMOCAT LLC, it tackles topics, that most games fear of even addressing, in an healthy manner during an amazing adventure trough the mind of Sunny, a boy troubled by SOMETHING in the dark. The game has drawn comparisons to both YumeNikki and Earthbound, and it’s a turn-based RPG that’s both thrilling and emotional. Combat is turn-based, with players selecting moves from a menu while watching short animated sequences. It's out on 17th June 2022, and is described as a horror RPG where it's your job to "explore a strange world full of colorful friends and foes". Omori won two honorable mentions during the 2021 Independent Games Festival, and the game’s been praised for the way it handles mental health, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
