Dissolve contents of one Dioralyte sachet in 200ml (approximately 7 fluid ounces) of drinking water.Alcohol is a diuretic which means it causes excessive urination resulting in loss of water and, consequently, dehydration.

It is important that you don’t wait until you feel thirsty before you drink – by then, it is too late and you will already be dehydrated. If symptoms persist and no improvement is seen after 36 hours you must seek medical advice immediately.
