Fortunately, there are many other designers and clone companies who have created colognes with a very similar scent profile and vibe to Green Irish Tweed. In the base, the sandalwood and ambergris blend beautifully to create the stylish, masculine impression of the Creed original. Creed Original Santal is a creamy, sweet, and woody fragrance. It works absolutely amazing in transitional seasons like spring and fall. Those seasons are perfect for woody, sweet mixes. Creed Original Santal is a great one for those times, as well as for clubbing or parties. The sweet, cinnamon-like scent is perfect for crowded areas! Creed Royal Oud is a wonderful take on the oud fragrances. It has the great aspects of an oud fragrance without it being offensive. It has a perfect balance between the oud and a spicy scent and works great if you’re getting into oud fragrances. Club de Nuit Intense Man will attract a fair amount of attention, so if you’re looking for something a little subtler that will still last a long time, consider Armaf Hunter. It lasts 7 hours, and it has a lighter note profile that’s a little less overtly masculine. Which Armaf Cologne is the Strongest?

As such, make sure you only use 2-3 sprays if you’re going to be in an enclosed space like the office or public transport. Otherwise, you might risk offending those near you. Creed Himalaya is one of the freshest Creed fragrances. Yet it also has a bit of a warm feeling to it. The freshness, along with the woodiness in this fragrance makes for an amazing scent during the warmer days. Performance here is also incredible for a cologne at this price point. I get a full 8 hours out of Armaf Club de Nuit Man Intense, with around 4 hours of arms-length projection – and compliment collecting. Top Notes:

When searching for a perfume similar to Green Irish Tweed, you want to look for ones that feature fresh green notes with subtle hints of purple florals like iris and violet. While citrus notes should also be featured within the fragrance profile, they shouldn’t linger throughout the dry down process. You are also looking for a fragrance that settles into warm amber and sandalwood on the skin. It’s very similar to Aventus by Creed. I doubt 99% of people would be able to tell the difference. It’s about as close to an alternative as you can get, and represents great value for money.

Creed Millesime Imperial is a fruity and salty fragrance. The fruity sweetness mixed in with the sea salt creates a very pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering in any way. Therefore, this fragrance can work in almost any situation. This makes it a great fragrance to own. It opens up with a hit of bright lemon before melting into a clean, green, spring-time scent. You can catch a little violet in there as it dries down.

Purchasing a clone of a fragrance is an amazing way to get a similar scent to the original. However, it is not the real fragrance. There will always be a difference, however slight it may be. That’s why I wanted to discuss another way to try out Creed fragrances for cheap. Creed Original Vetiver is a very fresh, green fragrance that works amazingly in the summer days or at places like the office. It is inoffensive and refreshing at the same time. It also has a soapy vibe to it, making it smell even better! Armaf’s Tres Nuit is a 9/10 from me. I have to take a point off because I would prefer it lasted a little longer, but beyond that, it’s all here. I honestly don’t feel the need to buy Green Irish Tweed anymore because of it. The musk and bergamot round out any sharpness for a powdery effect that makes Club de Nuit Intense Man smell way more expensive than it is.

Pride of Armaf isn’t nuclear, but it’s not weak either. You’ll still get 6 hours of life out of this fragrance – and probably more in warmer weather. Top Notes:

Blue Homme is the perfumer’s warm-weather fragrance that costs considerably less than a flight to The Bahamas. Like all fragrances, Armaf’s colognes are available in two different types of concentrations. There’s Eau De Parfum (EDP) and Eau De Toilette (EDT). EDP is richer and longer lasting, while EDT is lighter and fresher—making it perfect for hot weather. It opens up with a burst of lemon and musk. Within 15 minutes you get a bit of smokiness, and the whole profile coming together smells reminiscent of deliciously grilled pineapple.Personally, I’ve got no problems with Armaf taking a leaf out of Creed’s playbook. I’m just happy that there’s someone out there keeping pressure on them to match their prices to the quality provided. Top Notes: You get the iconic, in-your-face ambroxan blast straight away in the opening. Within half an hour, it subsides to make space for a warmer mid-section with floral freshness from lavender and geranium. Creed Erolfa is a pretty underrated Creed fragrance, especially when compared to the likes of Creed Aventus. However, Creed Erolfa is an amazing summer fragrance. It’s a shame it is so overshadowed. The scent is fruity and oceanic, with a noticeable melon scent, making it a perfect tropical fragrance for the summer! Creed Green Irish Tweed is another one of the best known Creed fragrances. It has been around for a very long time and it is still an amazing fragrance. It is a classic, green fragrance that works great in hot weather and during formal occasions. It is truly an amazing fragrance. Pride of Armaf is very similar to Armaf Ventana, but slightly sweeter from the lemon and bergamot in the opening.
