Both brushes are fairly slim and lightweight in hand, but the Pro 1000 does not have the large amount of grip on the front of the handle like the 1500. Instead, it has just a small amount at the top where the power button is located. There is a great deal to like about the iO and this is without a doubt a step up for Oral-B. But, the downside is the price. It costs quite a bit more than the Genius X and does not deliver significant benefits that would be justifiable to most for the price. Conclusion I am having issues when traveling with the Braun IO toothbrush. It works fine until I take the toothbrush apart and put in the traveling case when I stat someplace. When I do that, it loses the charge everytime somehow? The toothbrush is fully charged before I put in the travel case but when I get to the place and put it together the charge is gone? Any ideas? We simply write about their products, notably toothbrushes.Can you use old wall mounted charger on the new 1500 smart toothbrush or are the battery different kind. But, we have learnt that most people would rather save a bit of money, than have lots of features they may not use, making the Smart 1500 a perfect fit.

I am not sure what brush you have and why it might have suddenly gotten stronger. Might you be using a different brushing mode or changed a setting (if available) on your brush? If you have a smart (Bluetooth enabled) toothbrush, that has been paired to the smartphone, within the app you can set specific goals/journeys that change the brush configuration, including disabling certain cleaning modes. You have a dedicated cleaning mode button too. Press this to change cleaning modes on the 9000. With the 5000 you have to press the power button multiple times. It does too benefit from a lithium battery meaning it offers around 2 weeks of use on a full charge.

Can you give more information on what brush you have and what steps you have taken to try and get it to work? Next, have a look at the metal shaft under the brush head. When the toothbrush is switched on, does it move? It should spin around in a circle. If it does not, there may be something wrong with the handle and it will require service from Oral-B.
