I was initially really impressed with the headset, but have continually been disappointed by several design and feature elements. I upgraded from the Savi W720 unit (which I loved) because I'll be working on the road. Voyager Focus 2 UC: Headset, BT700 Bluetooth USB adapter, travel case, charge stand included with certain models International products have separate terms and are sold from abroad and may differ from local products including fit, age rating, and language of product, labeling, or instructions, or plugs (you may require an adapter). Poly’s formula for comfort was a standout in its previous model, and that hasn’t changed. If it ain’t broke, right? The headphone pads are soft, cool to the touch and breathable. I was able to comfortably wear them for hours at a time without feeling the need to take them off. Voyager Focus 2 UC: Connects to PC/Mac via new BT700 USB-A or USB-C adapter and a mobile phone via Bluetooth v5.1

It's clearly built for work. Music and games don't sound as well in these ones as they do in the Corsair Void similar performance but the threshold of when it started getting loud was a bit lower speed and when it got to max speed the voice audio become choppy Once you’ve used a headset like the Voyager Focus 2, you’ll wonder how you worked without it. It really does make life easier, switching on full active noise cancelling in a noisy office environment almost teleports you into a closed meeting room, it’s that effective. It’s you – loud and clear. That’s all callers hear. The discreet microphone boom on the Voyager Focus 2 is not only ultra-noise canceling but, with its multiple microphone Acoustic Fence technology, it literally creates a virtual noise-free bubble in front of your mouth. It’s so good it even meets the Microsoft Teams Open Office premium microphone requirements. The focus stays on you, right where it belongs. Comfort that's easy on the ears and easy on your head Poly has also beefed up the battery life, meaning you’ll get up to 19 hours of use off one two hour charge and about 40 hours of listening time if you’re using it for media like music.

both performed the same, water was barely audible, roomba was a very low rumble, as if it was 2 rooms away vs at my feet The ultra-comfortable headband with sling ensures that the weight of the headset is evenly spread across the head – making it comfortable for all day use The original Poly Voyager Focus UC was stated to give you up to 100 feet of wireless range. The Poly Voyager Focus 2 UC claims a wireless range of up to 164 feet. When using the USB-C dongle and not Bluetooth, the sound quality is great and the mic noise cancelation seems to be good. This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. The range is AWFUL. I cannot walk more than 9 steps away from my desk without the headset fully disconnecting. I bought this for office use. The noise cancelling is terrible. In fact, after turning the noise cancelling ON, I not only hear the voice of my colleagues but their voice starts sounding unnatural and tinny. Also, no change in cancelling any other noises. It is also very uncomfortable for wearing more than an hour or two. The set pushes on your ears causing headaches multiple times. MS Teams functionality also does not work although it certified for teams. I expected better from Poly for such a premium product. SoundGuard DIGITAL: protects against sound levels above 118dBA; Anti-startle (during calls) detects and eliminates any large sudden increase in signal level; Time-Weighted Average prevents average daily noise exposure from exceeding 85dBAThe global pandemic has forever changed the workplace landscape. In a few short months, the adoption of cloud platforms and work from home accelerated at light speed. With those changes, came a new set of challenges. Unlike controlled office environments, home environments have children, pets, lawn service, kitchen sounds, loud televisions, and more! There's some delay as it is wireless. It has been improved in the last few months (at least with the dongle, I don't know about connecting it through bluetooth) but it's very minimal. Sometimes it would cut off the first second of audio from videos.

The brief test. I wore both headsets normally and tested a few common scenarios that cause the biggest annoyance for listeners. On the Poly Voyager Focus 1, the control buttons are located on both ear cups. That changed with the new Poly Voyager Focus 2 because the buttons have all been consolidated onto one ear cup. This is helpful because you now have all the buttons located in one place rather than having to remember which buttons are on which side of the headset. A small detail perhaps, but details matter. 7. Smart Sensor upgrade, and built-in busy light And by the way, the range you get on both of these models are pretty typical to Bluetooth headsets overall. So either of these Poly Voyager Focus headsets aren't sub standard in any way regarding range. 3. Longer Battery Life The focus 2 is 2X the price of the 5200, but it’s performance over crinkling, sirens, toilet, and dishwashing to me make it worth the long term trial. I already own the 5200 and will still keep it as it’s excellent for travel and car. But the focus 2 will likely become my primary around the house headset and for long working trips. Both the Poly Voyager Focus 1, and 2 can connect to a computer, and to a Bluetooth device while remembering up to 8 connections. However, the Poly Voyager Focus 2 offers you the option to get the office version which includes a base unit, and provides connectivity to a desk phone, computer or Bluetooth device. This is an option that’s not available on the Poly Voyager Focus 1. 9. New Lower Price (and who doesn't like that?)

Pareil, avec de la musique, télé ou console durant le télétravail, ces sons sont parfaitement filtrés. EDITORS NOTE: This blog was updated on 4/20/2023. The update includes new images and refreshed content.
