Description

Also, if you were using the microphones in the screen, if it does work you would need to fit the external mic. The Parrot wireless remote control is used to access the settings menu on the MKi9200. This means that you cannot reset the MMi9200 without the remote. The only exception to this is if you have the Unika steering wheel interface instead of the remote, in which case it is possible. Finally, if your 3200LS shows a “P” on the screen when attempting to pair it will need to have it’s software updated to cure this issue. On the MKi9100 go into Settings / Advanced / Restore Factory Settings and confirm the reset with the Green key on the remote. The MKi9100 will erase memory and re-boot. After re-boot set the required language by pressing the centre button on the Parrot remote. The unit will then re-start once more. Update Procedure

Do not bother with version 2.00 firmware as it had bad echo problems on handsfree – these should be updated to V2.11 or V2.20. The USB connection is not compatible with playing music from an Android phone. For this you must use Bluetooth streaming. Some early versions of the MKi9000 will require an interim update to V1.96 to be performed first, so you will need this file and also V2.11 or V2.20. If your software version is V1.95 or less you MUST update to V1.96 first. From version 2.00 software the MKi series support “multipoint”– this allows the connection of 2 phones at the same time and is enabled in the Bluetooth settings. The correct procedure to reset the MKi9000 is to turn on and wait 30 secs while it boots up. After this hold the RED and GREEN keys on the remote at the same time for 1 to 2 seconds. This will erase memory and then re-boot. You will have to select required language and then press centre button. The MKi900 will re-boot again and is then ready for pairing a new phone. From memory you are correct that you need display version 3.1 for the Unika to work. This display version is set by hardware in the screen and cannot be updated. When we were installing MKi9100’s + Unika and the version was wrong Parrot would send us an updated screen and we would return the old one. Try connecting a few times and you may find it gives you the option to enter code. If not, your new phone is not compatible. More detail is I am trying to add a Unika to my Mki9100. But I got a message on the display that display is not compatible. In settings I see parrot version 2.20, and display version 3.0. I understand for Unika requires parrot version 1.11 and display version 3.1. Is there any way to update the display version? The really early versions of MKi9100 firmware were quite buggy and the boot up time was very long. Also, updates were made as new phones were launched.

Telecomanda wireless se poate pozitiona pe volan sau pe bordul masinii si ii permite soferului sa controleze toate functiile lui MKi9100.

From your description would suspect there is a memory error in the Mki9100 control box. This would be a hardware fault and would require the control box to be replaced. Unfortunately, you will require the remote to reset your MKi9000. It is not possible to do it without the remote or the Unika steering wheel interface (only possible if you have buttons on steering wheel).
