The what-happened-to-Vinca resolution, and the why -- and the way several other people were involved in all that -- is beyond silly -- but amusingly enough so. The Reunion by Meghan Quinn is a standalone contemporary romance novel that is on the humorous side. The story in The Reunion is told by changing the point of view between multiple characters in the book to give each of their perspectives through multiple relationships forming.

Soooooo good. That delayed gratification, I swear. It made TV magical. And this book definitely triggered some nostalgia for that lost feeling. I loved this second chance romance so much! The gossip columns between the chapters were so entertaining! The character building was great. You easily resonate with Liv and Ransom! Emily had been friends with Will, Lyla, & Henry, three rich popular students & had become part of their world for a time, or so she thought. What happened to her though, showed her that they were never really her friends & now the perfect time has come to take her revenge. All three will be there this weekend & Emily's going to unmask them for what they really are. highlights αλλά σε γενικές γραμμές, την βρήκα πολύ επίπεδη για τα γούστα μου και χωρίς νεύρο. Αν και διέθετε όλα εκείνα τα στοιχεία που χαρακτηρίζουν την νουάρ λογοτεχνία, όπως η σκοτεινή ατμόσφαιρα, το μυστήριο, η συγκίνηση, αυτά δεν είχαν την ένταση και τη θέρμη που θα περίμενα. Η πλοκή ξεδιπλώνεται στη σκοτεινιά της τοποθεσίας όπου ο συγγραφέας έχει τοποθετήσει την ιστορία και θεωρώ ότι αυτό είναι και το δυνατότερο σημείο του βιβλίου. Η κλειστοφοβική ατμόσφαιρα. Όμως, πάνω που άρχισε να αποκτά ενδιαφέρον –κάπου μετά τη μέση- άρχισαν ξαφνικά οι αποκαλύψεις. Για μένα πολύ νωρίς κι ίσως και γι’ αυτό έχασα και το ενδιαφέρον μου. Επειδή δεν είχα κάτι περισσότερο να περιμένω.

Es el primer libro que leo de este autor animada por varias recomendaciones sobre sus libros y aunque en su conjunto me ha gustado, hay cosas que me han chirriado en la relación de Francis y en el personaje de Alexis. Tal vez, me esperase más del libro. Es imposible no sentirse identificado con el protagonista, el escritor Thomas Degalais, su pasión por la literatura y el reflote que han supuesto para él los libros 😍 With an invitation to the University reunion lingering, Emily decides that people must pay for what they did. For a book to be recommended for fans of Sally Thorne and to be inspired by the Emily Wibberley’s writing, I’m sorry to say it was a bit of a let down.The twists are almost comic in their absurdity, but that's certainly also part of the fun of this shamelessly over the top novel. Oh y'all. I was so charmed by the blurb on this one! It was straight up my alley and I was so excited to get my hands on it! Thomas can get a bit ponderous along the way -- well, you know: "In my search for Vinca, I was also -- perhaps especially -- investigating himself".
