Medical frigate Gown This is the gold-colored metal bikini Leia wore while imprisoned by Jabba the Hutt in “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.”. It is also called the Slave Leia Costume. They will be too busy admiring the fact that you made this costume out of a sheet, like some kind of modern day Maria from THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

This step is much easier said than done, and was by far the hardest part of this DIY No Sew Easy Princess Leia costume. I admit I literally sweated a bit during this stage, until I realized that no one was going to see a slightly crooked or rumpled seam. top stitched line down the entire front left and front right side of the vest ending at the waist band. Princess Leia, the iconic character from Star Wars is such a strong character that many women want to be like her – and sometimes the least one can do is try to emulate her clothes.
