Description

Due to increasing temperatures in the UK we can no longer guarantee the fabrics performance if left on in temperatures exceeding 25 degrees celsius. The ambient air temperature is not reflected in the cover temperature as these will be significantly higher if left in direct sunlight and can be almost double that of the air temperature.

VuPlex is an anti-static compound that reduces static and also the friction between your caravan cover and caravan window. Perspex windows can create static thatcan attract dirt and other grit particles. These dirt and grit particles are what causesabrasion/scratches to your windows when your soft inner layer of your caravan cover rubs against your window. Using the VuPlex compound will prolong the clarity of your caravan windows for longer periods.Otherwise making sure your caravan is clean prior to installing your cover will help to keep your windows crystal clear. Caravan A-frame suspension is a crucial component that helps to ensure a smooth and safe ride while towing. The A-frame is the triangular frame that connects the caravan to the tow vehicle. It is responsible for providing support and stability to the caravan, and it is also where the tow hitch is attached. Understanding how the A-frame suspension works is essential for anyone who wants to remove it. Suspension One of the most common issues with A-Frames is moisture damage. Moisture can seep into the A-Frame and cause rust and corrosion, which can weaken the structure and compromise the safety of the caravan. It is essential to inspect the A-Frame regularly for any signs of moisture damage, such as rust spots, flaking paint, or bubbling paint.Christmas delivery: Please note we will be closed from the Wednesday 20th December and re open on the Tuesday 2nd January. TIP - The external lengthoften differs from the internal floor plan length quoted by the manufacturer due to storage compartments accessible from the outside only. Step 3: In summary, the A-frame is an essential component of a caravan’s chassis, and it must be regularly inspected for signs of wear and damage. Removing the A-frame from a caravan is a challenging task that should only be carried out by a professional with the necessary knowledge and equipment. Why Remove the A-Frame? Slight colour variations - Slight fit variations - Different style of pipings and seams - Different size and weight

Before attempting to remove the A-frame of a caravan, it is important to ensure that the necessary preparations have been made. This will help to ensure that the process is as smooth and safe as possible. The materials needed to replace a caravan A-frame will depend on the make and model of the caravan. Generally, you will need a new A-frame, bolts, nuts, washers, and a torque wrench. It is important to ensure that the replacement parts are of high quality and are compatible with your caravan. Is it possible to repair a caravan chassis? The covers feature a roll-up section that makes access to your caravan a doddle, and they all feature tie-down straps to prevent damaging billowing of the material in high winds. Insulation is a crucial aspect of any caravan, as it helps to maintain a consistent internal temperature. The type of insulation used will depend on the caravan’s construction and the climate in which it will be used. Common insulation materials include foam, fibreglass, and reflective foil.

With 4-ply seams, it’s protected against rot and the 4 zippers help to make it exceptionally easy to put on and take off. Features To Look For Good Fit In summary, each material has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the choice ultimately depends on the needs of the caravan owner. Aluminium is lightweight and resistant to corrosion, timber is strong and relatively inexpensive, and meranti is durable and resistant to rot and decay. Considerations for A-Frame Size Caravan windows will not be scratched by our covers if they are kept clean. It is the dirt that gets trapped between the cover and the window that causes scratches and abrasions. Perspex windows unfortunately create static which can attract dirt and dust particles which can make it hard to keep clean. We reccommend using an anti-static compound like VuPlex on your perspex or acrylic windows to solve this problem. If there are no additional screws or bolts, the A-frame may be attached with a flat plate. To remove the A-frame, gently tap the flat plate with a hammer to loosen it from the caravan. This cover is lightweight (3.14kg) and the 150D polyester material, comes with a silvered finish and delivers 1500mm of hydrostatic water resistance and long-term UV protection. Before removing the A-frame, it is important to disconnect the gas and electrical connections. This will help to ensure that there are no accidents during the removal process. Step 4: Remove the Cover When removing a caravan A-frame, it’s important to consider insulation and temperature control. Proper insulation will help keep the caravan warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather, while temperature control will ensure a comfortable interior temperature. It is also important to consider the cost of labour when replacing an A-frame. Labour costs can vary depending on the repair shop and the complexity of the repair. It is important to choose a reputable repair shop that has experience working with caravans to ensure the repair is done correctly.
