Ame no Habakiri offers tremendous cutting power when mastered perfectly. In Oden’s hands, she and Enma became the only known weapons to ever hurt Kaido leaving him with a massive scar. Among them, its high weight, which requires some time to adapt. Indeed, Zoro immediately notices that it is significantly heavier than his old katana rusted by Shû, Yubashiri, and describes it as “difficult to handle”. Moreover, during his fight against Oz, he judged that he was not yet able to fully master this sword. Thanks to his intensive training with Dracule Mihawk, Zoro was able to overcome Shusui’s flaws, which then became his favorite blade. He shows off his newfound mastery of the blade after the timeskip by slicing a pirate ship in half with disconcerting ease. 7. YUVASREE

Sukesan and Kakusan are a pair of katanas wielded by Kin’emon. Sukesan and Kakusan are very similar katanas. They have a rectangular tsuba and flame-patterned scabbards. The blades are used by Kin’emon with his “Fire Fox” sword style. Kin’emon uses the katana one at a time as well as dual wielding. Kin’emon has possessed Sukesan and Kakusan at least since he was 23 years old.

One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 11 Chapter 97 (p. 12-18) and Episode 49, Tashigi estimates Sandai Kitetsu's true value around 1,000,000, while it was sold for only 50,000 due its curse. The Grade Blades ( 業物 , Wazamono ?) [1] are blades of a high quality, outclassed only by the twelve Supreme Grade Swords, twenty-one Great Grade Swords, and fifty Skillful Grade Swords. The total number of Grade Swords is unknown. They are the lowest classification for a Meito. However, despite their lower quality, they still yield far superior attributes and strength than regular blades, such as exceptional resilience and cutting power against sturdy foes. One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 95 Chapter 955 (p. 16-17) and Episode 956, Hitetsu reveals that Zoro is able to get used to Enma due to Wado Ichimonji Murakumogiri is the name of Edward Newgate’s Naginata and one of the 12 best quality Meito, the Saijo Ô Wazamono. With Whitebeard’s massive powers and fighting skills, the Bisento is a formidable weapon and is quite powerful. As proof, this one allows him to measure himself against Shanks’ saber which caused an atmospheric type tear in the sky when the two blades crossed. After receiving Shusui, Zoro stated that its greatest quality is its toughness and that even if a dinosaur stepped on it, the blade wouldn’t bend a millimeter. He demonstrated this by deflecting a punch from Oz with the blade in a horizontal position. As exceptional as this blade is, it still has several flaws.Enma: The masterpiece of legendary swordsmith Shimotsuki Kozaburo and one of the 21 O Wazamono, Enma is one of the best swords in the world, with Kozuki Hiyori considering it a worthy replacement even for the legendary Shuusui. Tenguyama Hitetsu described Enma as being able to “slice into the depths of the underworld” (alongside Ame no Habakiri being able to “slice the sky itself”). The formations of ji-nie may appear like water droplets and are called yubashiri (湯走り), which literally means “running hot water”. They are common on Kamakura-era Yamato, Yamashiro, or Soshu blades. Jifu Jifu, a formation of ji-nie described to have a spotted appearance – Credits: Markus Sesko There are currently four known grades of Meito. Supreme Grade, of which there are 12; Great Grade, of which there are 21; Skillful Grade of which there are 50; and Grade, of which there is a currently unknown number. Some Meito are ungraded, but still renowned. These three swords are highly important to Zoro’s fighting style and he has displayed impressive prowess with them in battles. With his incredible swordsmanship and iconic three-sword style, Zoro is undoubtedly one of the most formidable fighters in the world of One Piece. 4. Possibility of Another Sword in the Wano Arc Ryuma wielded Shusui once again when he was revived as a zombie, and later bequeathed it to Zoro upon his defeat. [6] Punk Hazard Arc [ ]

One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 78 Chapter 778 (p. 10-11) and Episode 719, Zoro cuts Pica in half with Ichidai Sanzen Daisen Sekai. He has the power of the Sabi Sabi no Mi and successfully destroyed one of Zoro's swords, Yubashiri, with ease. [1] One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 91 Chapter 912 (p. 10) and Episode 897, Sukiyaki reveals that his sword is a Meito. In addition to being much heavier than Yubashiri, Shusui has the distinct trait to increase its wielder's destructive power. As shown when the modified Zombie Ryuma, in addition to his strong body empowered Brook's Fencing Sword Style, making it much stronger and destructive than a Gentle Blade. Zoro noted that if their fight continued then Shusui would've broken Sandai Kitetsu and Wado Ichimonji, both swords created by some of the best Wano swordsmith. In Zoro's hands, Shusui could deflect the Zombie Oars' punch when wielded horizontally, then made a giant flying slash after using Hyakuhachi Pound Ho, absorbing the flying slashes produced by his two swords, thereby increasing its already destructive power. [12]After traveling through Whisky Peak, Little Garden, Drum Kingdom, Arabasta, Jaya, Skypiea, Long Ring Long Land and Water 7, the blade finally met its end at Enies Lobby, where it was rusted away by Shu in the battle against the Marines' captains and commanders on the Bridge of Hesitation, rendering the once reliable sword into an irrecoverable stub. [2] Being one of the thirty-two best katanas in the world (eleven Saijo Ô Wazamono and twenty-one Ô Wazamono), the Wadô Ichimonji is an extremely powerful blade, in the hands of a competent swordsman. He is extremely tough, and has a durable blade, as indicated by Mihawk, when he destroyed both Zoro’s swords and only Zoro resisted. Polishing a Japanese sword is as complex as making it. The steel has a bit of a dark appearance, so a polisher must bring out all the details in the steel surface, including the jihada (grain pattern) and hamon (temperline pattern) while making a functional blade. A polisher also makes the sharp edge and refines its shape. The polish of the blade affects the appearance of the jigane.

There are some sword-related Japanese sayings, such as jigane ga deru (地鉄が出る), which translates as the steel appears. It is especially true when the blade is polished, and the jigane shows more unrefined areas. This expression means to reveal one’s true character. Conclusion A jigane is strong ( tsuyoi, 強い) when the jihada (grain pattern) is very visible and has lots of ji-nie. Blades with a strong jigane are usually associated with the Soshu tradition. Yowai (Weak)Zoro would continue to wield the sword in countless battles against powerful enemies such as Daz Bonez, Enel, Kaku, Ryuma, Oars, Bartholomew Kuma, Hody Jones, Pica, Kaidou, and King. After the Thriller Bark Arc, Zoro wrapped a sageo rope around the upper part of the sheath, [8] although this was not shown in the anime until after the timeskip. [9] Although the Devil Fruits are the best-known objects in the lore of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece series, there are numerous relevant objects that make up the lore. Most of them are either treasures or weapons, and in this article, we are going to talk about the latter group, as we bring you a list of the strongest swords in the world of One Piece. Some of these swords are truly amazing, and we are going to rank the 20 strongest one from weakest to strongest. 20. Sukesan and Kakusan One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 71 Chapter 708 and Episode 637, Cavendish's sword is named and seen in use against Chinjao.
