So, in general, there are no obvious flaws in the design of this monitor. They were able to keep it sturdy and use quality materials while meeting the price range’s requirements. Connectors The IPS panel has become the go-to choice for mid to high-end displays. Its popularity stems from its ability to deliver excellent image quality and its versatility, as it is found in displays across a wide price range, from budget-friendly options to high-end models. Fortunately, the color fidelity of this screen surprised us in a positive way. It features vibrant colors and bright images, which are the result of an excellent panel and a high brightness ratio. All performance specifications represent the typical specifications provided by HP's component manufacturers; actual performance may vary either higher or lower. Results may vary based on quality of the original picture/photo/video and difference between the previous monitor settings compared to the HP Enhance + mode.

It measures 29.1 x 9.25 x 21.58 inches and weighs 17.40 lbs which is relatively light for its size but still makes it a pretty heavy monitor. In fact, the sturdiness of this model can surely make up for its heavy weight, featuring top-tier quality materials. Both characteristics are surely not what I expected to find on a monitor with such good image quality at such a budget price. To top it off, they’ve integrated AMD FreeSync Premium technology, which decreases screen tearing during games with an even better FPS range than the normal Freesync. To conclude, we can say that they plainly opted not to cater to gaming styles when designing the screen’s aesthetics. If you need anything more eye-catching, they already have it with the HP X27I. Aside from that, this ratio appears to be a decent option for competitive gamers who want a larger advantage in FPS games during the specific situation when they’re in a very dark room, and they need to see their opponent better; so, increasing the brightness appears to be a good option. With all of this in mind, we can only assume that they opted to place a strong emphasis on the gaming features of this screen. However, keep in mind that it has a fair amount of motion blur, so you won’t find here a top-of-the-line gaming monitor. When looking for a 32-inch monitor, it's important to consider your budget and what you need the display for, like if you want something simple or prefer the latest premium options. If you want a gaming display, having a fast response time and low input lag help result in a responsive gaming experience. There's no perfect solution for everyone, but understanding what options are available is a good place to start. I’d say this is the sort of monitor for individuals looking for a large screen with a fast refresh rate to casually play games on, but who don’t want the most advanced gaming capabilities. Image Overall Quality QHD resolution (2560×1440) at 32inch monitor gives me a 93ppi pixel density, which means my text items are perfect size for my eyesight. I can see all my text comfortably and use Windows 10 without messing with any of the display scaling settings. This ratio enables the screen to offer exact images even when exposed to direct sunlight, which is a significant benefit for individuals who will be using the monitor in a bright area during the day.

If you're looking for a 32-inch monitor on a budget, there are a few good options, but you'll have to sacrifice performance. A monitor like the LG 32GN650-B is decent overall and has a few good features to improve the user experience. You can also find it as the 32GN63T-B at different retailers, and both variants perform the same. Sadly, it's a step down from the LG 32GP850-B as it doesn't get as bright and has worse motion handling, but it still has a 165Hz refresh rate, and it's great if you want an entry-level gaming monitor. It also hasfeatures you'd expect to find in most gaming monitors, like FreeSync VRR and G-SYNC compatibility. As a result, because this monitor is a bit more expensive than the norm, they had the room to increase the panel quality a little bit. And so they did, leaving the IPS glowing subtly and greatly enhancing the accuracy, allowing this monitor to shine with its rich colors. Brightness Although the HP X32 has a fair level of sharpness, it is nothing out of the ordinary. In comparison, it has the same PPI as a 1080p 24-inch monitor, so we can say it’s decent but not exceptional. If you choose clarity over gaming features, 32-inch 4k displays in the same price range are your best bet. Unlike the Gigabyte, it doesn't have HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so it can't take full advantage of gaming consoles or moderngraphics cards, but that's the case with most 1440p monitors anyways. Besides its gaming performance, it's good foreveryday use as it has great reflection handling and high SDR peak brightness, enough to fight glare in a well-lit room. It also has wide viewing angles that keep the image consistent from the sides, which is great if you want to share the screen with a friend next to you.

So, while the HP X32 is more expensive than the norm and features a great panel combined with a high brightness ratio, its prices are still outside of the hybrid monitor’s price range, and as a result, we may expect a non-gamer-friendly refresh rate and response time. If you find the LG 32GR93U-B expensive but still want something with high-end gaming features, the Gigabyte M32U is a good alternative. It has many of the same features as the LGbut has aslower overall response time, so there's just a bit more motion blur. However, it still has VRR support to reduce screen tearing and has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, which is great if you want to use it for console gaming or if you have an HDMI 2.1 graphics card. While other factors like color gamut and coverage are important, the panel’s building quality – which directly affects pricing – has an even greater influence on the IPS’ quality differences.
