Instead, the fragrance has been given a powdery whiteness with carnation and spicy eugenol, and the floral bouquet has been increased in size, and complemented with sweet honeyed orange blossom. The Chantilly fragrance, although first released by Houbigant, was also produced by other brands. You can find Chantilly Houbigant (1941-1989), Chantilly Parquet Parfums (1989-1993), and simply Chantilly (1993-1999), which was produced by Renaissance Cosmetics and Dana.

This perfume was also created by Dana, and it’s one of the first perfumes that debuted in the floral fragrance category. It has a fresh citrus scent that’s encompassed by the smell of flowers. This amazing fragrance includes hints of jasmine, amber, lemon oil, patchouli, musk, and Bulgarian rose. Tabu perfume is known for its exotic Oriental aroma, and it’s perfect for individuals who like powerful scents. Heaven Sent Smelling the modern day drugstore version of Chantilly (by Dana, if I remember correctly) gives one a good idea what "smells like a cheap perfume" means (said in that certain tone and with a certain look on my mother's face). This was not what Houbigant, the original house that launched Chantilly in 1941 had in mind.

If you would like a more contemporary interpretation of Chantilly I would suggest Coastal Carolina Victorian Vanilla something else I have in my collection. I was smelling it this morning and it really gave me those same vibes but it is more of the "now", if you know what I mean.
