About this deal

My Mint Slicehas always been a popular no-bake treat in my house, along with my Peppermint Fudge. Adding this delicious no-bake mint aero cheesecake to my ‘minty’ repertoire was an absolute MUST. I obviously adore no-bake treats because I just find them so easy and yet still so delicious. We can't have chocolate oranges but we can have the one variety of the mini eggs so make the most of these Terrys gluten free treats while you can. Something simple and easy can still be so delicious. Who knew a combination of cheese (which sounds disgusting if you think about it) with cream, biscuits, chocolate of sorts, and sugar could create something soooo damn delicious. All of the Easter Eggs in this section of guide, at the time of writing, are gluten free, dairy free and safe for people with coeliac disease. I've swept the supermarket shelves of Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose to find all the Easter eggs which are gluten free.

RECIPE UPDATED MAY 2017–I decided to update this recipe slightly to improve it. After some comments of the mixture tasting a bit odd, I decided to change the cream cheese to mascarpone. It can sometimes taste odd assome mint extracts are different, and don’t mix well with the tartness of Philadelphia. I also switched the base to a cocoa powder and digestive base as its so yummy! The original recipe is in the comments of the recipe card below if you did want to make it! Meg Miller, Brand Manager for KitKat said: "Our new KitKat Bites are truly mouth-watering morsels, boasting a rich filling and crispy wafer pieces encased in a milk chocolate shell. Perfect for a little evening indulgence, such as a family film night or after dinner treat, KitKat Bites deliver an intense, chocolatey hit with every mouthful. This is a grown-up twist on our much-loved brand, and we are so excited to bring KitKat Bites to the market. We can't wait for people to try them!" Kermond, Clare (25 February 2011). [82] In 2011, Ford engineer Carsten Stake was inspired by the texture of Aero bars in a bid to reduce the weight of plastic engine covers in their Focus vehicles. The MuCell plastic is injected with gas bubbles during moulding, making a microscopic honeycomb-like structure that is twenty per cent lighter and so lowers fuel consumption. In 2002, Nestlé Canada's research showed that consumers would often break the Aero bar into pieces and then let it melt in the mouth to prolong the experience. Their subsequent advertising showed two women, the first biting into the bar, the other responding, "What are you doing? That's not right.". The Easter bunny says: 'I'm not entirely sure of the pony's place in Easter celebrations, the melamine bowl, spoon and beaker are pretty in pink and purple and the chocolate is nut safe and made in Norfolk.'

The process of manufacture was patented in 1935 by Rowntree's in York, England. [3] [4] The patent describes how the chocolate is heated and then aerated to create small bubbles. It is poured into moulds of the solid outer chocolate shell. As the chocolate cools, reduced air pressure allows the bubbles to expand inside the bar's filling. In 1997, Unilever sued Nestlé, stating that Nestlé infringed Unilever's patent for aerated chocolate ice cream products. [10] White Bubbles bars were released in Australia in 2001, with a milk chocolate outer and white chocolate bubble centre.
