a b Millar, John (July 1, 2012). "Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell is so proud to be a Highlander". Daily Record . Retrieved November 10, 2015.

While not a big fan of many of his films (I was never really a Deadite) I do like others and find his take here interesting, readable and often humorous. Pretty good read. entertaining and witty...Forecast: While a boon to film cultists and to Campbell's many fans, this book also has enough insights and smarts to appeal to readers with a serious interest in popular culture." —Publishers Weekly I finally got all the Quarry books & was dying to read them, so why did I read this instead? Am I a FAN? A Deadite? Yeah, sort of. I've loved the Evil Dead movies since... well, a really long time, and I've liked Bruce Campbell's acting. He doesn't seem to take himself too seriously & his on-screen sense of humor seems to mesh well with mine. After reading this book, I understand why.

Weisbrot, Robert (2004). Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Lanham, Maryland: Taylor Trade Publishing. pp.208–209. ISBN 1-58979-120-7. The truth is that though you might not have a clue who I am-unless you watch cable very late at night-there are countless working stiffs like me out there, grinding away every day at the wheel of fortune. If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor documents my time in blue-collar Hollywood, where movies are cheap, the hours are long, and the filmmaking process can be very personal. Bruce Campbell gives us his memoir/biography of his life up to 2002. That includes memories of growing up, meeting Sam Raimi, doing stupid little Super-8 movies together, and eventually the Evil Dead franchise and what it was like to make that. If you care more about Evil Dead than Bruce Campbell, you might want to watch the DVD extra features and documentaries (I especially recommend “Medieval Times – The Making of Army of Darkness“, which is free on YouTube). But if you want to read a biography of an actor who really pounds the pavement for his work (I was appalled he had to make cold calls begging for investment money) and other stories of the life of an actor who doesn’t get the mansions and endorsements, then this is it. This is the story Hollywood doesn’t want you to know. Patten, Dominic (October 7, 2016). "Starz Renews 'Ash Vs. Evil Dead' For Third Season – NY Comic-Con". Deadline . Retrieved October 8, 2016.

If Chins Could Kill

To keep up with the times, I've digitized Chins. It was originally published in hardcover/analog fifteen years ago, which is a vast amount of time in the evolution of books and technology, and it was time to get current.
