New and familiar characters abound, voiced by a bright mix of performers, including Kat Dennings, Regé-Jean Page, Emma Corrin, Michael Sheen, Kristen Schaal, Brian Cox, John Lithgow, Jeffrey Wright, and so many more, including fan-favorite narrators Simon Vance and Ray Porter. Whilst there is a HEA at the end of this book I feel like I have been through the ringer in the three days I’ve taken to read the duet (whilst working full time, I couldn’t put it down in the evenings! Secondary characters are just as real and fleshed out as the main characters and there is unexpected twists at every turn.Vivian was put in a very difficult position, and I despise how she handled things, but it makes sense why she did. Let Me Love You is the kind of work that authors aspire to achieve as their end game and was an exceptional read!

There is so much here- love and hate, mistakes and forgiveness, manipulation and selfness, innocence and maturity, pain and joy, desperation and patience, mistrust and understanding, feear and freedom, destiny and soulmates, the infinite capacity of the heart to love. Siobhan has a wonderful gift for crafting authentic and beautiful family bonds in her books and it was a joy to see the families rally around their loved ones throughout this conclusion. Unfortunately the result of that then cheapened their story for me and I just didn't believe it was a HEA because it felt fake. She seemed to give Reeve a really hard time while Dillon got a free pass (bar scene at the end of book 1 anyone or his behaviour in the beginning of book 2! For Arthur Dent, who has only just had his house demolished that morning, this seems already to be more than he can cope with.No one leaves me emotionally spent as well as she does and I keep coming back for more because I love the beauty of her stories! I was angry with her and disappointed by her choices but her actions were justified and much more understandable with the new information. For starters, partway through this book I was thinking we've had this story before from this author.
