Expertly crafted for 10 long years, Graham's Tawny Port boasts a smooth and mellow flavour, with notes of dried fruits and nuts. It epitomises the passion for excellence and precision that is at the heart of every one of Graham's handmade tawny ports. Graham's "10 Years Old" is our tribute to craftsmanship, a tribute to the passion for excellence and unmatched precision at the heart of every handmade Aged Tawny Port.

Today, five Symington cousins share responsibility for every aspect of the company and personally make the Graham's wines.Much lighter than Vintage Port, these wines are delicious when served slightly chilled and are sometimes drunk as an aperitif as well as after a meal. After a decade of care and slow oak-maturation this wine is a wonderful example of the complex flavours of tawny port. Today, five Symington cousins share responsibility for every aspect of the company and personally make the Graham’s port.

Tawny Port This wood-matured tawny port, produced using Time-honoured craftsmanship and generations of experience, was mellowed in seasoned oak casks at our stone-walled lodge, built on the estuary of the Douro river in 1890. It is very hot during the summer reaching temperature in excess of 40 degrees celcius in the summer perfect for the indigenious grape varieties of this region. The Symington family crafts the quality of Graham's Tawny Ports from harvest to cellar, using the experience of 5 generations.Graham's was one of the first Port companies to invest in its own vineyards in Portugal’s Douro Valley in 1890 and is now at the cutting edge of innovation in winemaking techniques. With a deep amber colour and a velvety finish, this port is perfect for savouring with desserts or as an aperitif. Of course, the wine itself is no longer transported down the Rio Douro in wooden rafts but there is still plenty of heritage and time honoured traditions of manufacturing this particular fortified wine which was devised by the British during the Napoleonic wars to ensure that the nobility still had wine on their table. Background: Graham's 10 Years Old is made from wines of the very highest quality which, following careful selection, are matured in seasoned oak casks of 534 litres until their peak of maturity is reached.
