And I loved watching him fall for Emelin, feeling things for the very first time, and bravely embracing it. OMG, this book is all intensity right from the very beginning, and I was instantly sucked into the story. We see it as he beings to open up to Emelin – there is so much of him to uncover, and Marshall does it piece by piece, at just the right pace for maximum impact.

Because the Silent Death is not who he seems, and he has a plan to take our the ruling fae Mother and free those under her control, and he needs Emelin’s help to do it. It’s such an amazing read – especially when you consider that Marshall is still a newly-published author. Court of Blood and Bindings is the first installment in the Fae Isles series and is a fantasy romance story perfect for ACOTAR fans. The treacherous Crimson Court, where the Mother of faekind has ruled unchallenged over fae and humans for decades. Best-selling author Mark Manson brings his signature no-nonsense wisdom back to the subject he started his career covering: relationships.

Eliminate negativity and change your life with best-selling author, happiness expert and life coach Domonique Bertolucci. For Arthur Dent, who has only just had his house demolished that morning, this seems already to be more than he can cope with. the other characters, especially as the world truly blossoms in book 2- you truly fall in love with - flaws and all. It had a promising premise, but the tedious writing and poor execution made it impossible for me to become engaged in the story or care about the characters despite my best efforts. The book’s timeline is actually pretty fast moving, but the romance feels like a slow burn, and I was revelling in every little moment between these two. This deeply personal and supportive series offers listeners an honest and relatable insight into how some the UK's best-known celebrities have coped with mental health difficulties, ranging from OCD to insomnia, addiction to grief, and depression to anxiety. Creon believes that the key to his mother’s magic is her throne, so he and Em try to map the labyrinth underneath the palace to get under the throne to destroy it from there.

The Silent Death believes he can use Emelin's magic for his own ends, and whisks her away to become a major player in a game more complex than Emelin ever thought possible.

I hope that next book will be available as an audiobook because I'm invested in this story very much. That being said, if you haven’t read this series yet, the very beginning of both books takes a brief minute before you get into it. She is 20 years old, lives with her parents still, and lets them treat her like total crap, even though she has magic and they do not. There are quite some famous tropes in this novel, like enemies-to-lovers, there’s-only-one-bed, and fake relationship.

Neither of them act on it as Creon teaches Emelin about his world and they begin her training, but it’s always there. The audiobook reflects Rhonda’s own journey and shares the most direct way out for those experiencing hardship and the path to end pain and suffering endured by so many, and it shines a light on a future without anxiety or fear. In each episode you'll follow one person's journey, getting to listen in on their coaching sessions with Selina and following them as she sends them off on a task to try out a new career idea. When she’s not reading or writing, she can usually be found drawing fantasy maps, baking and eating too many chocolate cookies, or geeking out over Ancient Greek. When Lisette isn’t dreaming about gorgeous heroes and sensual heroines, she can usually be found reading about weird history, plotting unrealistic fictional murders or baking way too many chocolate cookies for herself and her boyfriend. The Silent Death is supposed to be the Mother’s loyal servant, her invincible warrior, her ruthless, soulless killer. There's so much to unpack here that I'm not surprised this ended up being the author's longest book to date, yet it had me totally absorbed throughout!
