Drydown is just Awesome not spicy just sweet woody , i love to smell it again and again on my wrist very tasty smell .

Update 4/12 23: I still can't smell all those notes people are talking about here, like the vanilla and that other good stuff. Overall, I would say Elixir's longevity is on another level and projection is slightly better, but the smell is very similar, Elixir is more sophisticated but Asad is still incredible. This fragrance transitions so well, from sweet-spicy to woody, back to sweet, with lavender anchoring the whole sequence. It is strong projection the first couple of hours with that ash note then by the time it settles down to something similar to elixir, it's a skin scent. Lattafa is also a fragrance house where it pays off to wear a fragrance once, maybe twice, then put it aside for a couple of weeks because after, when you go back to it, your mind will have been working and making sense of it.The performance is still good, but Sauvage Elixir is one of the strongest fragrances on the market, so it makes sense this wouldn't measure up. Eau de Parfum, 100 ml It is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum in a dark bottle of the original design. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. Its very masculine, but I can understand its not for everyone ( I personally don't like the original sauvages) but I have always been drawn to elixir, I just felt it was a bit too spicy.

And now smelling the elixir sample I can also smell the same notes, there are differences, but it's hard to say which I like more.
