I initially posted this thread because I wanted to reassure people who were struggling with Match Madness that it’s entirely do-able.This game can be used individually as a set of puzzles to learn/improve on each of the skills involved in playing the game. So the challenge of the game, regardless of of which way you play, is to find the right pairs of symbols for the right locations. They don't understand that some languages are harder than others, and this is only making the XP spammers (in the easier languages) gravitate to this to get their 10,000XP in one day. I’m a bit dissapointed to learn there used to be a different version of match madness that was doable. Anyone else notice you sometimes have one word in the pair appear and the other word has not yet shown up? I ignored match madness for several months and only began it in Dec 2022 and have NEVER been given the option of “Row Blaster” free or for a cost. Our only issue is that once an adult has played with the blocks for 20 minutes or so, they begin to intuit how the puzzles work, putting them at a distinct advantage.With the new incremental format, it’s virtually impossible for me to complete all the levels, so I spend four days ignoring the challenge because I can’t get past level 7. Our iteration of the game, To Each Their Own, is a way to level the playing field so players that aren’t as quick at solving puzzles can still enjoy playing.

My comment is not just to the level of difficulty they have made this, but it does not tell you how many gems this costs. There are 5 sets of cards of different difficulty levels, clearly indicated, and 12 cards at each level, offering many different challenges to work through. Once you let go and start to calmly trust your instincts, you’ll find the challenge a hell of a lot easier. Appealing to younger kids and competitive fun for older players, Match Madness Duo delivers in every way the essential elements of an award-winning game. While not necessary, the expansion Match Madness Extreme is a great addition to the base game for players looking for an even bigger challenge.The advantage of this is that it does not require processing speed or the relative equality of different players in these skills. I have an unbroken 1910 day streak so think I qualify as a fan of Duolingo but am irritated that there is no official way for users to give feedback or to ask questions. They then take that number of pattern cards from the each deck and place them face down(in an “easy” and “hard” stack) in the middle of the table. I don’t advise leaving both if they both match because new words take too long to appear in the remaining.
