The Highlight portion of the book was my favorite and the one tactic I think will make the biggest difference in the way I do my Weekly Reviews and daily planning in the next year. Make Time is practical and engaging, offering tips on everything from designing your day to the benefits of cutting out cable news and eschewing plane Wi-Fi in favour of time away from work.

If you want to externally transform yourself, these are the thrilling trio I would recommend (I probably need this for future me too). Even if you don't completely control your own schedule'and few of us do'you absolutely can control your attention.Algumas dicas deixaram de fazer sentido em comparação com a primeira vez que o li, mas outras passaram a ser úteis. The book was packed with tactics for saving time - but if you're not glued to your phone/puter/TV all the time then it doesn't have a lot to say on the matter other than - eat well, sleep well, do some light exercise. They spent 18 months traveling in Central America aboard their sailboat Pineapple before moving to Milwaukee in 2019. In total, these blinks have given you 20 tactics for implementing the first three steps of the Make Time strategy: highlight, focus and energize. It's not just our devices; our workplaces and our culture have built-in defaults that make busy and distracted the normal, typical state of affairs.

Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky are both former tech industry insiders who used the strategy and tactics outlined in these blinks to regain their time from their hectic lives and pursue their true passions, which ultimately led to major shifts in their careers. I'm not rating it 5 stars because I don't consider the book to be life-changing or providing any new advice, but I still think it is a solid read with a personable writing style and enjoyed the framework that the authors outlined, which I plan on referencing. He has since run more than 150 sprints with companies like Nest, Slack, 23andMe and Flatiron Health.

The silly sketches, opinion battles, descriptions of oh too familiar bad habits made this an entertaining read, as opposed to a dry self-help book. Lebih dari itu, mereka jg mengingatkan kita agar tidak tenggelam dlm kesibukan yg sebenarnya mengada-ada (jadi ingat Bullshit Jobs-nya Graeber). What’s worse is that the Busy Bandwagon and Infinity Pools have joined forces to become a tag-teaming duo of time destroyers. Bet es ar to ļoti ātri aizrāvos, sāku pierakstīt principus un jau pirmajā nedēļā sāku dažus no tiem ieviest dzīvē.
