It didn't help that I didn't really like any of the characters and the romance felt out of sorts because of the whole going back and forth between timelines. While it can be challenging for a story with over 800 plus pages to keep my interest it can be done, and this author can do it because she has before. In that instance, without any experience of the past, wouldn't you say I am an entirely different person? Fairytale Farm is divided into seven main zones: Huff and Puff for adventure play; Enchanted Walk for our fairytale sensory experience; Alfie and Friends, where you can meet our amazing animals; the magical new Fairy Dell play area, with giant toadstools to explore; Jack’s Yard, where you can meet fairytale characters; Wilderness Walk, where you can learn about nature; and our brand new Dino Valley, with its friendly moving dinosaurs. The hero didn’t cross nearly as many boundaries as her other ones have, and I just personally didn’t love where the story ended up going.

Spoilers in this review, but if you’re like me, and wish someone warned you about stuff before you got into this 772 page book, then read on. i love unreliable narrators—and seeing the unreliability coming from past lives—but the intentional misleading the author wrote in her note at the beginning did not work at all for a book of this length. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. I was hoping that pieces would start to fall together as the book went on, but it was one of those books where the author took off in an entirely different direction in the last 1/3 and at that point I was starting to skim.She remembers how cold and wet it was when her children would visit it, only to abandon it quickly to get warmed up. So sad to see their huge trunks, perhaps three feet diameter lying on the ground having being cut up. However, there’s just enough clues and suspense for you to figure most things out with some twists I didn’t even expect. I’d recommend this book to those who are open-minded, enjoy sci fi, don’t have many triggers, and who have a lot of time on their hands.

This does have a bit of a slow burn, but it was done so well and I was SHOOK over the spice when it did hit! Honestly I’ve never seen anyone recommend this book where I usually scrounge for recs but I wasted(not really) a whole day reading this book. which btw is a tradition, as and i quote ”That is a symbol of my commitment to one woman for eternity.The brightly lit ground below inky black trees on the horizon looks intreaging, a moment in time, so as time was running out as I decide to paint. He gave me butterflies while writing this, so I hope he'll give you the same type of feelings when you read it. While I thought the author did a decent job remaining authentic with the time periods’ vocab during the 1950s and 1700s flashbacks, during the flashbacks from thousands of years ago the vocab started to sound suspiciously like the 21st century. Now if you like books with ALOT of crazy shit going on and you like the feeling of getting your brains scrambled then this is for you but it certainly was not for me.
