Poppy never featured very highly on Andrew’s list, although in retrospect that may have been political on his part. It's action packed and she fights tooth and nail be it with cops or smack the psycho girlfriend not once but twice in a restaurant and all the running and chasing, all in all made it very entertaining!

Some descriptions of characters’ feelings or thoughts were repetitive and needed more ‘show’ not ‘tell.EVERYONE is a suspect, they ALL have something to hide and I was very much caught up in the mystery. As soon as I saw that this book was written by Laura Marshall, I had no doubt that I would love it and I can confirm that theory was tested and proven once again.There’s everything from envy and jealousy to anger and barely bubbling under resentment with a measure of anxiety and desperation. a slow, almost mundane start led to an interesting middle with tales of the different lives and their secrets then was followed by explosive twists leading to a good finale. But in discovering who has deceived her, Liz may unwittingly find out exactly what happened to Andrew that night. But as the story progresses and you get to know the characters in a little more depth, it all becomes clear.
