It's very hard to get something to stick, you have to really forget about something and just leave it to burn ( which I have actually done given I have a sieve for a brain). They’re fine for boiling things but if anything involves a sauce then I usually use a non stick pan because sauces do tend to quickly burn on the bottom of the stainless steel ones.
