Description

It’s soft and rugged, but not quite as supple as the leather you’d find on higher-end audio headphones. There’s not much of a difference between these two headsets other than their style, as they perform fairly similarly across our testing procedure.

Because audio gear can be so subjective, it’s easy for a bad mood or a little defect to get in the way…and I wanted a chance to undo my mistake. is above-average, resulting in a speech that has a good amount of detail and presence but lacking airiness. Finally, while the unit we tested was black, we also appreciate the availability of multiple colors, including blue, red, and blue/black camo. My Triton Pro+, for instance, came with fancy leather ear pads, solid build quality, and an amazing mic. They also have a better overall performing boom mic and are compatible with G HUB software, which allows you to adjust their sound to your liking using the graphic EQ and presets. You can adjust the volume level with a dial that's easy-to-use and responsive but doesn't have distinct notches so that you can set the exact volume level you prefer.

They're better-built, have an ANC system that can block out more background noise, and have a wireless design. The included USB sound card is a little bit chunky, with a USB plug attached to a braided cable that’s a couple of inches long, that then attaches to the larger sound card dongle thing. The G433 is a really great wired gaming headset, with great surround sound, features, design, and comfort. Unfortunately, the G Pro are not compatible with the Logitech Gaming Software, since they do not have a USB connection. They’re also semi-sealed: there’s no open back, but they do have a hidden port to allow the Pro-G drivers to move a bit of air. Sure, they’re a little more scratchy on the surface…but you’re probably not going to be dragging the headset across your face while wearing it, right?

They cater well to instruments and vocals with a good representation of the mid-range and a relatively balanced treble. The headset’s 40 mm drivers deliver clear and immersive audio, providing an advantage in discerning crucial in-game sounds. The Logitech have more connection options than the Corsair and come with a mobile-friendly cable that will work with your phone. The Logitech G433 does not have any controls on the headset itself, and the two included audio cables feature different control options. In the end, most will be sitting by themselves behind a monitor so the appearance would be a minor consideration. My purchase didn't arrive and despite giving CCL ample opportunity to resolve the issue and/or justify the delay, they did neither. Richard Cheese's cover of U2's "Bullet the Blue Sky" is mostly balanced, but lacks much high-end presence on the G433.

They also have another cable with an inline remote for mobile devices, which makes them pretty versatile headphones. It’s a very good value, and provides a lot of flexibility for gamers who want to be able to take their headset over to the console, or out of the house with their phone or laptop. If it is outside of the warranty period, we may offer a chance to repair the item at a cost to be quoted.
