I used the twisty hair grip to tie the braids together and make a necklace, but they could have done with having hairbands included. Lots of hairstyles to do and would be awesome for someone who liked hairdressing, dolls and small toys! Our Deluxe doll is Straw Mary and she looks and dresses like a strawberry, with a red and green strawberry dress, red and green shoes and of course red and green hair. Ypu can easily create handmade braids and buns, twists and ponytails, the hairstyle possibilities are endless.

I can’t wait to collect all eight of the Candylocks doll and pet sets with characters like Posie Peach and Fin-Chilla; and Hank-Ster to accompany my Ocean Spray and Rickcoon dolls. The dolls we received were one of the smaller surprise doll and a larger Sugar Style Doll Straw Mary, both with the signature 'candy floss' (or cotton candy if you're outside the UK) hair, packed with colour and looking very appealing to open. We opened up Kelly Bean, much to the delight of Ro and Ra, who had gorgeous lightly scented jelly bean hair and also came with two hairpins styled a bit like brightly coloured sweets, a heart, star and square-shaped gem plus a hair twirler that matched her hair colour. This does mean that some of the hair comes off and the gem needs to be de fluffed every now and then.
