If the wind is managed or not an issue, you will have no problem achieving a fast boil with this stove. One of the things I really hate about isobutane canister stoves is that the stove sits on top of the fuel canister, which puts your pot of boiling water or pan of sizzling bacon grease high up in a very precarious position.

However, if you’re planning on doing much more than boiling a liter of water, or know you’ll be adventuring in less-than-ideal conditions, an upgrade to a sturdier sized stove may be warranted.
