She gurgles and giggles when she is on the move but if she trips and falls or gets tired she will start to whimper. We’ve not had the doll long, so we can’t comment on the battery life or how durable she is but she certainly seems very sturdy and well made. Luckily for my daughter she doesn’t have to worry about her Baby Annabell and if she is reaching all her correct milestones at the right time.

I have found this will all milestones with my children that they completely do things at their own pace. After all that hard work, when it’s time to sleep Emily will make yawning and sleeping sounds when rocked and her eyes close when laid down for bed. My little girls’ play with their dolls a lot, and love our growing collection from the Baby Annabell range. It’s a funny thing, maybe because she was my second child but I just wasn’t concerned at all and thought that the health visitor was being over cautious. She’s the perfect soft-bodied companion to introduce younger children to the wonderful world of roleplay! She crawls for around 60 seconds, after which she falls asleep and will wake up if you press her tummy button. Caitlin got a baby Annabell doll for Christmas a few years ago and we weren't impressed but this one looks great, love the way she whimpers when she falls over! It's worth mentioning that she doesn't come with any batteries so remember that if you are planning to get her as a Christmas present. You can place her on her tummy for tummy time and watch her crawl, she can be sat up and then take her first steps! At his two year check, I remember the health visitor being taken aback by his vocabulary and the fact that he already understood under and over.

I remember the day so clearly, I had been so poorly and couldn’t make my work’s Christmas party, I was feeling rather sorry for myself and then up he got an did a couple of steps so pleased with himself, I ended up being glad I was poorly as I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it. She'd make a lovely Christmas gift and would be a perfect gift for a child who is going to become a sibling for the first time too. We really like Baby Annabell Learns to Walk and think she is a great addition to our collection of dolls and would make a brilliant Christmas present for any doll loving little girl. Lilly Learns To Walk comes dressed in an adorable pink and blue romper with a hat and is the perfect doll for caring and nurturing whilst having fun.Baby Annabell’s hands, legs and head are all bendable and Baby Annabell does different things depending on how you position her. Her hands are positioned to make them easy to hold on to and perfectly interact with her Baby Annabell Baby Walker!

From waking in the morning and learning to crawl to taking a ride in her lovely pram, your little ones will love spending the day with Emily. Zapf Creation recently introduced the Baby Annabell Learns to Walk doll and is challenging the milestones parents are told their children should reach at certain ages. When baby Annabell is in a seated position with her arms out in-front of her she begins to have a tantrum. What I like about this doll is that we can easily switch her off (when she gets too annoying - haha) so you don't need to listen to her constantly babbling if you don't want to and she can have times when she walks and crawls (when switched on) mixed with times when she can act like a regular doll and be cradled/pushed in her stroller ect.

The Baby Annabell range focuses on all the caring and nurturing aspects of being a mummy or daddy making it ideal for introducing little ones to the idea of a younger sibling coming along or caring for something / someone else. This puts silly pressure on new parents and unnecessary worry if at 20 months their little one isn’t walking or talking. To get started, you need to insert 4 x AA batteries into the compartment in her back and switch her on. She makes the cutest sounds and her eyes really close – making for the most adorable make-believe play for your little one.

Both of my children were early talkers, my son in particular mastered long words and concepts very early. Her eyes lit up straight away when she saw the new doll, and she was so excited for it coming out of the box. She just needed to be put in the crawling position and once her head was moved up, she began to crawl.
