This was a result of the delay of the racing championship start as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. From the 2021–22 season, all cars will increase the bio-component of their fuel, using E10 fuel, rather than the 5. Many races took place behind closed doors and with only essential personnel present to maintain social distancing.
