There have, in fact, been leaks that show the character as such, but now, a clearer look has been revealed. She-Hulk Art Shows Jennifer Suited Up While many found Sensational She-Hulk entertaining, criticisms of fourth wall breaking aside, there were some who were concerned about how Jen was sexualized from time to time. The complaints weren’t usually against Jen’s behavior as a sexually confident woman who didn’t mind attention from guys she was interested in. That came under criticism was how often Jennifer wound up topless or in a ripped top or in sexualized situations that were said to be jokes or satire. One incident often referenced was when a corrupt SHIELD agent demanded that She-Hulk strip naked in front of him and his colleagues or else her boyfriend Wyatt Wingfoot would be killed before her eyes. Marvel has indeed released a trailer with many shots of Jennifer Walters in her tall, green-skinned Hulk form. She's mostly wearing casual clothes in the footage, however, and in one instance, an evening gown. But with the series premiere fast-approaching, one can rest assured that she'll be seen in her suit soon enough.

Jennifer looks a little reminiscent of the famous Lady Justice stature here, as she holds up two scales with the words "Superhuman Law Division" below her. Marvel Studios Disney Plus’ She-Hulk so far has proved to be a medley of the character’s influences over the years. She’s been breaking the fourth wall from the jump, dealing with the MCU’s (relatively) smaller claims in court, and using the She-Hulk persona to mine deeper territory like body image issues. Whether her fashion sense will become a more active part of that isn’t clear yet, though her stepping out on a red carpet in a gleaming dress in the She-Hulk trailers certainly suggests it might. She-Hulk seemed to have a liking to the color purple, Or, perhaps it’s a nod to Hulk’s traditional purple shorts. Whatever the case may be, ultimately She-Hulk settled with an all-purple leotard during her original run as a member of the Avengers. The costume actually belonged to Janet Van Dyne (aka The Wasp). The Sensational Costume The Sensational She-Hulk Since the model for Jen when she's in her She-Hulk form needed to be created from scratch (unlike Bruce Banner's Hulk, who had CG assets leftover from Avengers: Endgame) Marvel was initially a tad cagey in showing fans a full look at the character. The very first footage from the show only showed She-Hulk from behind, and Marvel Studios hasn't officially fully shown Jen all suited up and Hulked out in any footage thus far. Glimpse at She-Hulk's suit Much like her cousin Bruce Banner, Jen's costume consists of a form-fitting body suit with purple accents. Marvel Studios

Jen recovers but feels strange. A later adrenaline rush reacts with the gamma-irradiated cells now in her bloodstream. She changes from a 5′ 10″ fair-skinned lady to a 6′ 7″ jade-skinned woman with amazing strength. Due to her height, muscles and skin-tone, a gangster she meets fearfully remarks, “It’s like . . . She’s some kind’a SHE-HULK!” If that seems… difficult to achieve to you, you’re not alone. Buying ready-to-wear clothes is already a bit of a challenge, and the idea that you could buy clothes that would fit the waist, shoulders, and legs of a woman who’s both 5 feet, 4 inches (the height the internet says Maslany is) and 6 feet, 7 inches (She-Hulk’s in-show height, per the creators) tall depending on her mood seems tough to imagine. But She-Hulk director Kat Coiro says while they were certainly aided by some good old-fashioned Marvel CGI, they worked to make sure all of her fashion choices actually had some foundation in reality. As visually interesting as all the above promo art is, it's no substitute for seeing the character in action in some footage from the series. As someone still getting used to her superhero form, Jen is not stoked about this. It’ll likely mean having to buy a whole new wardrobe, as she tells her friend Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga). And yet, in the first few episodes we see her settle into this new sartorial life: wearing clothes that work for two wildly different professional proportions, even if it means changing shoes a few times a day. With blazer dresses also being on trend at the moment, Harrington says that could also be a possible transition look, assuming Jen doesn’t mind carrying around some pants or a skirt to go with it for when she transforms. Harrington, who wrote In Intimate Detail: How to Choose, Wear, and Love Lingerie, also advises maybe a stretchy base layer that could work with everything and could grow and stretch with her. Perhaps the thing that most strains the mind, attire-wise, is what happens to her bra and underwear.

With the MCU having not introduced Reed Richards or the Fantastic Four (at least in the primary universe) yet, Jen is left to don oversized and baggy suit looks, allowing her to look regularly dressed as She-Hulk and fashionably baggy as Jennifer Walters. It’s an aspirational fiction — nailing the perfectly oversized look is dependent on getting the proportions right, even outside of work wear. It’s doubtful that those proportions would translate perfectly to She-Hulk’s form, such that everything hit at the right points on her body without feeling uncomfortable or looking incredibly unflattering. The image seen below follows the same concept as the previous one but has a watercolor-esque design. Marvel Studios Tatiana Maslany's Jennifer Walters will burst onto the scene in mid-August. Indeed, Marvel Studios' next Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, looks to shake things up for the MCU by injecting some irreverent Hulk-based humor into the proceedings. Maslany will bring the gamma-powered heroine to life through the magic of digital motion-capture performance technology and seems to be one of the most CGI-intensive MCU shows yet. Watching Jen transform throughout the episodes, I was baffled by how her “I <3 Mexico” shirt could comfortably fit her in both personas, or how her gray pantsuit could swell to hug her She-Hulk body with just a (single!) torn shoulder seam.

It should be noted that the video that has already been shown of She-Hulk has been met with a lot of derision from MCU-watching audiences. Calls for Marvel to further refine the CGI used to bring the character to the screen have been frequent and insistent. It's also important to remember though, that the show is not yet out on Disney+, so the crew behind the scenes still has time to add some more realism to the multitude of visual FX. This one is meant to resemble a legal case file, complete with fine print on the bottom. Marvel Studios No one is more surprised about Jen Walters, J.D. getting a new job than Jen Walters, J.D. In the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law when Jen (Tatiana Maslany) is hired to head up the superhero law division at Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway, she hopes it’s for her expert legal skills, not her newly revealed superhero identity. But when she shows up for work she’s blindsided by her boss: He expects her to come to work everyday as She-Hulk, not Ms. Walters. Still, at any rate, it's nice to get a good look at her full costume, as it appears in the MCU. The degree of comic accuracy it possesses is strong, with small elements and creative license being applied to bring it into the world and style of the MCU, which has always leaned towards comic-booky outfits with a touch or two of grounded realism. Coiro cites a time they put a pair of leggings that Jen wears on both Maslany and Arrayah, and they still fit. “That was part of the driving force of the creation of her body and her size,” Coiro says. “We weren’t doing something that would be impossible to make real; the show is very grounded in reality. So those suits are based in reality, and we would put the same suit on Tatiana, who’s tiny, that we would put on Malia, who was wearing a muscle suit. And they fit both of them.”

The series "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" will introduce MCU fans to Jennifer Walters, a lawyer whose life changes when she receives a blood transfusion from her cousin — who happens to be Bruce Banner, also known as the Incredible Hulk. She gains the Hulk's powers, and Banner takes it upon himself to train her in the art of being a superhero. Walters, however, isn't entirely thrilled about her new powers — particularly when she's asked to join forces with other superheroes to fight against a greater evil. For decades, She-Hulk did not have any symbol/insignia on her costume. However during the 2010s, in Charles Soule’s run of the comics, she was given a large ‘S’ and ‘H’ symbol, on her purple and white sleeveless body fit suit. It was also more a halter top and shorts, instead of the usual leotard. It was a nice redesign for the character that fit the artwork of the series, but like most suits for Jen, it didn’t last forever. Bounty-Hunter She-Hulk costume The Bounty Hunter She-Hulk Although surely intended as a joke, it’s worth noting that we are disturbingly still having this kind of conversation and argument in comics today, where many people dismiss female readers and the idea of expanding comic book readership in favor of catering only to male readers already present, some of whom may not agree with how things are done anyway. Also notice that Weezi refers to the female readers as “wives and girlfriends.” There are a couple of problematic implications with that right there. Can’t you just imagine the female readers looking at She-Hulk comics over the shoulders of the boyfriends and husbands they must all have?

I can see how she would handle the underwear — there are one-size-fits-all panties that work very well and are made out of great stretch materials,” Harrington says. “But the bra bit, I’m like, Hmm, I wonder how that works.” One of She-Hulk’s most memorable costumes was the one that she wore when she was a part of the Fantastic Four. During this, she wore a sleeveless unitard with the team’s iconic dark blue and red colors. This was probably the only time that she ditched her purple color in her looks. In addition to that, she also wore silver bracelets (like those of Luke Cage) and had a ‘4’ symbol printed at the center in yellow. Earlier when she was a part of the team (the mid-80s), she adopted the classic blue and white color scheme of the team at the time. The S & H costume The S and H costume of She-Hulk
