Heineken 0.0 Draught brings no/low beer from the periphery into the mainstream. We’re confident it will, over time, change pubs to accommodate more occasions. And by that, I mean it won’t be unusual for people to pop down to their local for an alcohol free pint or two. Consolidated beer volume grew 8.2% organically, mainly driven by Mexico, finishing in line with 2019. The premium portfolio grew in the low-twenties led by Heineken ® in Brazil and Amstel Ultra in Mexico. The low- and non-alcoholic portfolio grew close to 30% due to the strong performance of Heineken ® 0.0 in Brazil, Mexico and the USA. Non-beer volume declined 44.9% following the de-listing in Brazil of two litre PET soft drinks with low margins. After trying the Amstel Oro, which also makes mention of ‘tostada’ on the label, I had high hopes for this beer. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. What a shame! With the biggest Spanish brands getting behind 0% beers, it’s clear that the Spaniards are all for a move towards 0% beer. And that can only be a good thing for European drinkers as a whole, given the popularity of Spanish lagers in general. Non-alcoholic beers like Erdinger Alkohofrei, on the other hand, can include up to 0.5% ABV. This is obviously unlikely to make you feel woozy, but is an important detail to know depending on why you’re choosing not to drink.

Full Year 2021 Consolidated Metrics In mhl or €million unless otherwise stated & consolidated figures unless otherwise stated volume reflects the shift of malt-based, unfermented, non-alcoholic drinks from Beer to Non-Beer Volume. Organic growth has been corrected. In the second half of the year, net revenue (beia) grew 10.6% organically. We took further pricing actions and accelerated net revenue (beia) per hectolitre growth to 11.0%. Underlying price-mix in the second half was up 8.8% primarily driven by Nigeria, Brazil, Mexico and Europe, the latter benefiting from an improved channel mix. Total consolidated volume declined slightly by 0.3%, mainly impacted by the restrictions in the Asia Pacific region. However, when asking “How much sugar is there in non-alcoholic beer?”, it's important to remember each NA beer is likely to be slightly different. Just as flavor profiles differ, so too will the sugar content.

Not long ago, there were just a couple of nonalcoholic beer brands on the market, none of which offered much in the way of flavor or style diversity. Now, big-box brands and craft breweries are getting into the game, pumping out nonalcoholic options, including lagers, IPAs, and stouts. Heineken 0.0 first hit the UK in 2017 in bottles and cans as one of the first markets for Heineken’s big push into the non-alcoholic market.

in impairments (net of reversals), including €203 million for Lagunitas (total impairments in 2020: €963million) The NHS recommends adults have no more than 30g of free sugars a day. Free sugars are those added to cereals, flavored yogurts, fizzy drinks, chocolates, etc. as well as those present in sweeteners such as honey and syrups. This is not to say that all sugar is bad for you, but there are more healthful ways to consume it. HEINEKEN is the world's most international brewer. Other net finance expenses (beia) amounted to €94 million, down 22.2% on an organic basis, driven by a lower negative impact from currency revaluations on outstanding foreign currency payables. If you’re visiting Valencia and enjoy a good coffee make sure you visit Un Cafe. What surprised us the most was the price - a takeaway espresso costing only €0.90 - and nowhere we saw charged more than around €1.30 for a takeout coffee of any kind. Mahou Sin is a standard lager - only without the alcohol. It does have a subtle malty flavour, but nowhere near as strong as Heineken 0.0. And whilst the malt is less evident, it is by no means without flavour. In Indonesia, total volume grew in the high-teens, driven by a gradual recovery in the domestic market and the strong growth of Heineken ®. The on-trade remains closed, and quarantine requirements are keeping tourists away from Bali. Mahou is not a brand I am at all familiar with. Some of their beers are available in the UK, but not everywhere. It definitely seems to be one of Spains best-kept secrets (I tried their alcoholic IPA the other day and that was really excellent).
