First, select an edge that will hold the point, then select a feature to define the direction, like the face in the example below. Bringing our piece close to thestation, which has asingle connection point, a link is made between the connections. Releasing the part will snap thestraight piece to thestation, creating the first magnetic mate. Now, opening up our straight piece, we can create the connection points for the magnetic mates.
