Battlefield visit for Ulverston town councillors - North West Evening Mail
There are long-established links between the towns of Ulverston and Albert, in northern France.
For decades, town representatives and schoolchildren have been crossing the channel to learn more about each other's cultures.
As the town carnival got into swing in Ulverston, town councillors Dave and Sharon Webster were enjoying the hospitality of Albert as they hosted their own carnival.
