Description

He tried to teach them techniques to help them score, they started with five on three, but nobody could get the ball in, so it was now five on two then five on one, but they still weren't able to score so it was now five on zero. Due to the custodial staff having to take care of lunch, the principal is forced to give everyone the day off. He gets off the tram with book still opened, reading it whilst I’m guiding him crossing the road to make his way to school.

He had got his son Preet, who is incredibly skilled at the sport onto the team as well (Preet had to miss tryouts due to his uncle's funeral, so Mr. Greg stated there was a " Fan of the Game" which he was interested in, so he started doing stunts which could get you on there. During halftime, Patel gave a speech about a group of Scottish warriors who were outnumbered by their enemies, but they won because they stuck together and after that speech, the team was ready. He says that the reason why Plainview hates the surrounding towns is because they always destroy them in sport and the town that they hate the most is Slacksville. They initially decide to forfeit, but Susan wants the game to be fair for everyone, and she trades Greg to the other team. However, things started going downhill in kindergarten when the coaches started to become stricter about the rules, the adults were more serious, and the Snack bar is replaced with healthy food.

In the top drawing of page 40, it is shown that Greg's mom bought Chickpea Clusters even though in Wrecking Ball it is revealed that Greg is allergic to chickpeas. They scored almost all of their points from the free throw line, and the final scored was 33-17 for the Stage Whisperers. There were random outbursts of laughter from his little cheeky chubby face as he looked up at me smiled and went straight back in. Greg was confused but he was willing to help the team win and that included putting on someone else's uniform. The book ends with Greg and the Funky Dunkers celebrating their victory by going to an ice cream parlor, while Susan and the Winter Dogs watch in shame.

But he didn't and Greg's team started an ice cube fight and hit a sprinkler on the ceiling which triggered the fire alarm and everyone in the hotel had to stay outside for two hours in the freezing cold while the fire department reset the alarms. Susan decides to reorganize the team, and give them a new name, the Huskies (later renamed Winter Dogs), as she becomes the coach, but uses strange techniques for practicing. The clock was ticking down, with the Winter Dogs being 2 points ahead, Greg looked at Susan and she didn't look like she was rooting for him. The other coach didn't have a problem with it, but Susan did and said she wanted to win fair and square, so she sent Greg over to the other team.
